(1) Thirteen members of the Executive Council shall form a quorum of a meeting of the Executive Council. (2) (a) There shall be at least seven meetings of the Executive Council in a year including one meeting for discussing and approving the financial estimates (budget) of the University. (b) The Vice-Chancellor may, whenever he thinks fit, and shall, upon a requisition in writing signed by not less than five members of the Executive Council, convene a special meeting of the Executive Council, within twenty-one days of the receipt of such requisition. (c) When a date has been fixed for the meeting of the Executive Council by the Vice-Chancellor under clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (2), the Registrar shall give ten clear days notice in writing to the members of the Executive Council of such meeting.
