23Directions for keeping Mazagone Castle, and other houses or buildings purchased in lieu thereof, in repair.

The person for the time being entitled to, and in the enjoyment of, the title of Baronet conferred by the said letters Patent shall, at his own expense, keep in good repair, orders, and condition, the said Mansion House and other hereditaments called Mazagon Castle and all offices and out buildings accessory thereto, and likewise all houses and other buildings which may be purchased or erected under the powers conferred by section 8, and all alterations and additions thereto, and all offices, out-houses and other buildings accessory thereto, and, in case any person shall at any time neglect or refuse to keep the same or any part thereof in such good order and condition, it shall be lawful for the Corporation to cause the same to be kept in good order and condition, and to defray the expenses incidental thereto, out of the income of the funds for the time being subject to the trusts of the Settlement effected by this Act.
