(1) This Act may be called the Ajmer Tenancy and
Land Records Act, 1950.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Ajmer.
(3) It shall come into force at once, except Part III of Chapter XII which shall come into force on such
date as the Chief Commissioner may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
