22Executive Council.

(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the ex officio Chairperson of the Executive Council, which shall be the principal executive body of the University and shall exercise supervision and control over all authorities of the University referred to in clauses (c) to (k) of section 20.
(2) The constitution of the Executive Council, the term of office of its members and its powers and functions shall be such as may be provided by the Statutes.
