(A) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other provision of this Act, all or any of the powers, duties and functions of the Chairman shall be exercised discharged or performed by such Vice-Chairman as may be subject to the control and supervision of the Nigam, by general or special order authorised by the Chairman, either unconditionally or subject to such conditions, including the conditions of review by himself as may be specified in the order. The Vice-Chairman so authorised shall, however, in relation to the affairs of the Nigam, subject to the ultimate control and direction of the Nigam, hold his office under immediate control of the Chairman.]
