1 [(1)] There shall be paid each to 2 [ the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker ] of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and 2 [ the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman] of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council a salary of rupees 3 [ twelve thousand per mensem.] 4 [(2) The said salary shall be exclusive of the tax payable in respect thereof (including perquisites under any law relating to income-tax for the time being in force, and such tax shall be borne by the State Government.]
