33. (1) Except as otherwise provided by or under this Act an employee including a teacher of the University may be appointed under a written contract and such contract shall not be inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, the Statutes and the Ordinances. (2) The contract referred to in sub-section (1) shall be lodged with Finance Officer of the University and a copy of which shall be furnished to the employee concerned.
