The Committee shall- (a) advise the State Government on matters concerning prohibition of beggary and the provision of relief to destitutes; (b) prepare and submit to the State Government schemes for the purpose of providing relief to destitutes; (c) supervise, direct and control all matters relating to the administration of relief to destitutes; and (d) exercise such other powers and perform such other fuctions and duties as may be specified by or under this Act.
