(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Milk Act, 1976. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date2 as the State Government may by notification appoint in this behalf, and different dated may be appointed for different areas of Uttar Pradesh and for different provisions of this Act.
