(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Local Bodies (Appointment of Administrator) Act, 1961. (2) It shall extend to such areas within Ghaziabad tehsil and outside as are, or may be, included within the limits of the Improvement Trust, Ghaziabad, established under section 3 of the U. P. Town Improvement Act, 1919 and to the area within the Municipality of Ghaziabad notified under section 3 of the U. P. Municipalities Act, 1916.
