(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 1978. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date2 as the State Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
