(1) The Board shall cause to be maintained such books of accounts and other records in relation to its functions in such form and in such manner, as may be prescribed. (2) The Board shall, as soon as may be after the closing of its annual accounts, prepare an annual statement of accounts in such form and in such manner as may be prescribed. 1[(3) The accounts of the Board shall be audited by the Accountant General, Uttar Pradesh, or any officer authorized by him in this behalf. ] (4) The annual statement of accounts of the Board together with the audit report thereon shall be submitted by the Board to the State Government for such action as it may think proper to be taken. (5) A copy of the annual statement of accounts of the Board together with the audit report thereon received under sub-section (4) shall be laid before each House of the State Legislature.
