(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board Act, 1960. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) This section shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of the Act, shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification 1 in the official Gazette , appoint in this behalf.
