(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Health Workers and Health Supervisors (Regulation of pay) Act, 1996. (2) Section 2 and 3 shall be deemed to have come into force on July 23, 1981, section 4,5, 6 and 7 shall be deemed to have come into force on May 1, 1995 and the remaining provisions shall come into force at once.
