(1) The Board of Management shall consist of, — (a) the Vice-Chancellor ; (b) a nominee of the Council for Technical Education ; (c) three persons, nominated by the Education Society, of whom one shall be from the Scheduled Castes and one from the other backward classes of citizens ; (d) three professors of the University, each from different disciplines, by rotation on the basis of seniority ; (e) one professor from each faculty who shall be nominated by the Chancellor ; and (f) Secretary to the State Government in the Industrial Development Department or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Secretary to the State Government. (2) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the Chairperson of the Board of Management. (3) The Registrar shall be the Secretary of the Board of Management. (4) The powers and functions of the Board of Management shall be such as may be prescribed
