(1) The State Government may, by notification, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) The rules made under sub-section (1) may provide that any contravention of any of the provisions of the rules shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months with or without fine not exceeding rupees one thousand.
