In thisAct, unless the context otherwise requires:- (a) "Corporation" means the Uttar Pradesh Forest Corporation, established under section; (b) "local body" means a Nagaer Mahapalika, Municipal Board, Town Area Committee. Notified Area Committee, Zila Parished, Antarim Zila Parishad, Kshettra Samiti or Gaon Sabha; (c) "Managing" Director means the Managing Director of the Corporation appointed under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 4. (d) "Prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act. (e) "Regulations" means regulations made under this Act. (f) "State Government" means the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
