(1) The Corporation shall, subject to the provision of this Act, have power to do anything which may be necessary or expedient for carrying out its functions under this Act. (2) without prejudice to the generality of the for going provision, such power shall include the power; (a) to set up workshops or factories for processing forest raw materials; (b) to establish maintain and operate laboratories and experimental and research stations; (c) to enter into such contract or arrangement with; any person as the Corporation may deem necessary for performing its functions under this Act; (d) to borrow money, issue dobentures and manage its fund; and (e) to incur expenditure and grant loans and Advances to such persons as the Corporation may deem necessary for performing its functions under this Act.
