(1) With effect from such date as the State Government may by notification appoint in this behalf, there shall be established a Commission to be called the "Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission." (2) The Commission shall be a body corporate. It shall exercise powers throughout the State of Uttar Pradesh and its headquarter shall be at Prayagraj.
