3.For the purposes of carrying out the objects of this Act, the following shall be the authorities, namely :- (a) The State Government, (b) The Uttar Pradesh Disaster Management Authority, (c) Heads of Government Departments, (d) Commissioner, (e) District Magistrate of a district, (f) Local authorities, (g) Any agency, organization or body authorized by the Authority.
