(1) No, suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall be against the State Government or any officer of the State Government for anything done or intended to be done in good faith in pursuance of this Act or the rules made thereunder. (2) No prosecution against an Administrator appointed under sub-section (3) of section 17 shall be instituted unless previous sanction of the District Magistrate has been obtained therefor.
