In this Act—- (a) “Commission” means the Uttar Pradesh commission for Minorities constituted under section 3 ; (b) “Government” means Government of Uttar Pradesh ; (c) “Member” means a Member of the Commission ; (d) “Minority” for the purposes of this Act, means a community notified as such by the Government.
