Summary

5. The Institute shall consist of:- (a) the Governor of Uttar Pradesh -Visitor (ex-officio) Government; (b) the Chief Secretary to the Government -President(ex-officio) of Uttar Pradesh; (c) the Principal Secretary/Secretary to -Vice-President (ex-officio) the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the Medical Education Department; (d) the Principal Secretary/Secretary to-Member(ex-officio) the Government of the Uttar Pradesh in the Finance department or his nominee; (e) the Principal Secretary/Secretary to-Member(ex-officio) the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the Planning Department or his nominee; (f) the Principal Secretary/Secretary to -Member(ex-officio) the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the Law Department or his nominee; (g) the Director General, Medical Education &-Member(ex-officio) Training Uttar Pradesh; (h) the Director; -Member-Secretary (ex-officio) (i) the Dean of the Institute;-Member(ex-officio) (j) two person having special knowledge or -Members practical experience in the pursuit of Medical Science/Heads of Medical Institutions to be nominated by the State Government; (k) three representatives of medical faculties-Members of the Indian Universities or the Institutes to be nominated by the President; (l) one representative of the Ministry of -Members Health and Family Welfare, Government of India; (m) one representative of the Medical Council -Members of India; (n) one representative of the Indian Council-Members for Medical Research; (o) one representative of the Indian Nursing-Members Council; (p) two educationists of eminence to be-Members nominated by the State Government; (q) Two senior-most heads of department by-Members rotation every two years.

5.
