(1) This Act may be called the RIICO Industrial Areas (Prevention of Unauthorised Development and Encroachment) Act, 1999. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Rajasthan. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint. (4) It shall apply to all the land transferred to the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Limited by the State Government and land purchased or acquired or otherwise held by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Limited.
