(1) This Act may be called the Rajasthan Water Supply and Sewerage Corporation Act, 1979. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Rajasthan excluding the cantonment areas. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Acts; and a reference in any provision to the date of commencement of this Act shall be construed as reference to the date of commencement of that provision
