A Regional Development Authority may identify or conceptualise any infrastructure project and after carrying out the necessary studies and evaluations, implement such infrastructure project directly through its own resources or undertake it through public private partnership: Provided that an infrastructure project where the project cost envisaged is above rupees two hundred and fifty crores shall be undertaken subject to the approval of the State Government.
