In this Act unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context, (i) "housing scheme" means any housing scheme which the State Government may, from time to time, undertake for the purpose of increasing accommodation for housing persons and shall include any such scheme undertaken from time to time with the previous sanction of the State Government by a local authority or a company. (ii) "relevant date" means the twelfth day of December, 1953.
