The general superintendence, direction, control and management of the affairs and business of the undertaking, the right, title and interest in relation to which have vested in the State Government under sub-section (1) of section 3, shall- (a) by virtue of the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 3, vest in the Corporation ; or (b) where a direction has been issued by the State Government under sub-section (1) of section 6, vest in the new Government company, and thereupon the Corporation or such Government company, as the case may be, shall be entitled to exercise, to the exclusion of all other persons, all such powers and do all such things as the proprietors were authorised to exercise and do in relation to their undertaking.
