(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Act, 2000. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Maharashtra excluding the notified cantonment and urban areas, but shall cover irrigation project schemes having irrigable command area upto 1[600] hectares. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 22nd August 2000.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Act, 2000.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Maharashtra excluding the notified cantonment and urban areas, but shall cover irrigation project schemes having irrigable command area upto <sup>1</sup>[600] hectares.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>3</i>) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 22<sup>nd</sup> August 2000. <br>
