(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Tapi Irrigation Development Corporation Act, 1997. (2) It shall extend to the main stream of Tapi River in the State of Maharashtra and such other area or areas, as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 4th December 1997.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Tapi Irrigation Development Corporation Act, 1997.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) It shall extend to the main stream of Tapi River in the State of Maharashtra and such other area or areas, as the State Government may, by notification in the <i>Official Gazette</i>, specify.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>3</i>) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 4<sup>th</sup> December 1997.<br>
