(1) This Act may be called 1[the Maharashtra State Commissioners of Police Act]. (2) It extends to the whole of the 2[State of Maharashtra]. (3) It shall come into force on such date3 as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) This Act may be called <sup>1</sup>[the Maharashtra State Commissioners of Police Act].<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) It extends to the whole of the <sup>2</sup>[State of Maharashtra].<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>3</i>) It shall come into force on such date<sup>3</sup> as the State Government may, by notification in the <i>Official Gazette</i>, appoint.<br>
