(1) This Act may be called 1[the Maharashtra Shetgi Watan Rights (Ratnagiri) Abolition Act]. (2) It extends to the district of Ratnagiri in the State of Bombay. (3) It shall come into force on such 2date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
