The selection committee for selection of Principals of conducted colleges or directors or heads of university institutions or post-graduate centres or sub-centres maintained by the university, shall consist of the following members, namely :- (a) the Vice-Chancellor - Chairperson; (b) Chancellor's nominee on the Management Council; (c) two experts, nominated by the Management Council and one expert nominated by the Academic Council, who are not connected with the university, colleges or institutions under its jurisdiction; (d) one member belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes or De-notified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis) or Nomadic Tribes or Other Backward Classes not below the rank of Principal or Professor nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; (e) one principal who is a member of Management Council to be nominated by the Management Council; (f) the Director, Higher Education or his nominee, not below the rank of Joint Director of Higher Education; (g) the Director, Technical Education or his nominee, not below the rank of Joint Director of Technical Education.
