Charity Commissioner and other officers 1*** to be public servants.- The Charity Commissioner, Deputy and Assistant Charity Commissioners, 2[the Director and Assistant Director of Accounts,] Inspectors and other subordinate officers 3* * * appointed under this Act shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (XLV of 1860).
