(1) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, the nominated members of the Committee shall hold office for a term of three years commencing on the date on which the first meeting of the Committee is held after their nomination. (2) The members of the Committee shall entitled to such compensatory allowances and at such rates as may be prescribed.
