(1) Any Prohibition Officer empowered to investigate an offence under this Act shall have power to grant bail in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (V of 1898)1, to any person arrested without a warrant for an offence under this Act. (2) When any person has been arrested under section 126, a Prohibition Officer empowered to investigate offence under this Act shall have power to grant bail in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898.
