(1) This Act may be called the 1[Maharashtra Personal Inams Abolition Act]. (2) It extends to the 2[Bombay area of the State of Maharashtra] excluding the merged territories. (3) It shall come into force on such date3 as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette specify in this behalf.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) This Act may be called the <sup>1</sup>[Maharashtra Personal Inams Abolition Act].<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) It extends to the <sup>2</sup>[Bombay area of the State of Maharashtra] excluding the merged territories. <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>3</i>) It shall come into force on such date<sup>3</sup> as the State Government may by notification in the <i>Official Gazette</i> specify in this behalf. <br>
