1. Short title, 1[extent and commencement].- (1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Ownership Flats (Regulation of the promotion of construction, sale, management and transfer) Act, 1963. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra. (3) This section shall come into force at once; and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force in 2[such] areas, and on dates as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different areas. 3[* * *]
