(1) This Act may be called 1[the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act]. (2) It extends to the whole of the 2[State of Maharashtra]. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April 1958.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) This Act may be called <sup>1</sup>[the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act]. <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) It extends to the whole of the <sup>2</sup>[State of Maharashtra].<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>3</i>) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1<sup>st</sup> day of April 1958. <br>
