(1) If it appears to the State Government on the report of the 1[Council] or otherwise that any recognised institution is not maintaining an adequate standard of training according to the requirements of the 2[Council], the State Government may ask the 3[Council] to direct the institution to take steps within such reasonable time as it may fix to bring the training upto the required standard. (2) If the institution fails so to do within the stipulated time, the State Government may at any time withdraw the recognition granted to such institution.
