Dean of Schools.

<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) There shall be a Dean for each School, who shall be a full time salaried officer.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) The Dean shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendations of the selection committee constituted for the purpose.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>3</i>) The Dean shall work directly under the superintendence, direction and control of the Vice-Chancellor.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>4</i>) The term of Dean shall be co-terminus with the term of office of the Vice-Chancellor or till he attains the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier:<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>Provided that, the new Vice-Chancellor may continue his services as a Dean till the new Dean is duly appointed:<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>Provided further that, in case vacancy occurs in the office of the Vice-Chancellor because of death, resignation or otherwise, the Dean shall continue to hold the post till the end of that academic year.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>5</i>) The qualification and experience for the purpose of selection of the Dean shall be such as may be prescribed by Statutes.<br> <br>
