(1) The Groundwater Surveys and Development Agency shall maintain proper accounts and other relevant records and prepare an annual statement of accounts in such form as may be prescribed by the Government in consultation with the Accountant General. (2) The accounts of the Watershed Water Resources Committee shall be audited by the Accountant General at such intervals as may be specified by him or at the time of audit of Groundwater Surveys and Development Agency and an expenditure incurred in connection with such audit shall be payable by the Watershed Water Resources Committee to the Accountant General.
