(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Godawari Marathwada Irrigation Development Corporation Act, 1998. (2) It shall extend to the main stream of Godawari River in the Districts of the State of Maharashtra as specified in the Schedule to this Act and such other area or areas, as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify.
