(1) This Act may be called 1[the Maharashtra Bhagdari and Narwadari Tenures Abolition Act]. (2) It extends to the whole of the 2[Bombay area of the State of Maharashtra]. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Provincial Government may by notification in the Official Gazette specify.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) This Act may be called <sup>1</sup>[the Maharashtra Bhagdari and Narwadari Tenures Abolition Act].<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) It extends to the whole of the <sup>2</sup>[Bombay area of the State of Maharashtra].<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>3</i>) It shall come into force on such date as the Provincial Government may by notification in the <i>Official Gazette</i> specify. <br>
