In the Glanders and Farcy Act, 1899 (13 of 1899), as extended by section 2,- (a) in section 1, in sub-section (2), after the words and letter "Part B States" the words "other than the Hyderabad area of the State of Maharashtra" shall be added ; (b) in section 14,- (i) in sub-section (1), for the words "may make rules" the words "may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules" shall be substituted ; (ii) for sub-section (3), the following shall be substituted, namely :- "(3) All rules made under this section shall be laid for not less than thirty days before each House of the State Legislature as soon as possible after they are made, and shall be subject to such modification as the State Legislature may make, during the session in which they are so laid or the session immediately following, and publish in the Official Gazette.".
