(1) The company shall prepare and render to the 1[State] Government or to such officer as the 2[State] Government may appoint in this behalf, on or before the prescribed date in each year, a statement of accounts of its undertaking for such period made up to such date, in such form and containing such particulars may be prescribed in this behalf. (2) The company shall keep copies of such statement of accounts at its office and sell the same to any applicant at a price not exceeding that which may be prescribed.
