(1) This Act may be called the Bombay Essential Commodities and Cattle (Control) Act, 1958. (2) It extends to the whole of the 1[State of Maharashtra]. (3) It shall come into force on such 2date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
