§4

Summary

In the Prisons Act, 1894 (IX of 1894),- (1) In section 46 - clause (12) shall be deleted; and in the proviso thereto, the words "or to whipping" shall be deleted; (2) in section 47, in sub-section (1), clause (4) shall be deleted ; (3) in section 50, in sub-section (1), the words "or of whipping", shall be deleted ; (4) in section 51, in sub-section (2), the words beginning with the words "and in the case of offences" and ending with the words "reasons therefor" shall be deleted ; (5) section 53 shall be deleted.

<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>In the Prisons Act, 1894 (IX of 1894),- <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> (<i>1</i>) In section 46 - <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>clause (<i>12</i>) shall be deleted; and in the proviso thereto, the words "or to whipping" shall be deleted; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> (<i>2</i>) in section 47, in sub-section (<i>1</i>), clause (<i>4</i>) shall be deleted ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> (<i>3</i>) in section 50, in sub-section (<i>1</i>), the words "or of whipping", shall be deleted ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> (<i>4</i>) in section 51, in sub-section (<i>2</i>), the words beginning with the words "and in the case of offences" and ending with the words "reasons therefor" shall be deleted ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> (<i>5</i>) section 53 shall be deleted. <br>
