Penalty for failure to give notice of the commencement of the building or other construction work.

<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>Where an employer fails to give notice of the commencement of the building or other construction work under section 46, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees, or with both.<br><br>
