Whoever contravenes or attempts to contravene or abets the contravention of
the provisions of this Act or of any rules or regulations made thereunder other than the provisions, punishment for the contravention whereof has been provided for in sections 26, 27, 28 and 29, shall be
1[liable to penalty which may extend to fifty thousand rupees and for subsequent contravention penalty which may extend to one lakh rupees].
